The Reds are Coming!

The reds are here!

My fave beauties have finally bloomed!

These are my faves. I used to have the whole corner filled with them.

Then my wonderful hubby built the wall on them.

But some have come back! (Wow someone needs to weedwhip!)

Ummm.... I've been busy?!

It's been raining?!

Whichever makes me sound better than just too damn lazy.

Even some pixie lemon yellow ones bloomed.

I don't even remember planting those.....

oh well....

Today I went to the eye doctor. For most this would be an uneventful event.

Not me.

I have truly turned into my grandmother. I used to tease her cause she could go anywhere and come out knowing someone.

Seems I have inherited her talent.

But, I loaned my reader glasses to this lady and I found out that not only do she live by me, but she does photography and her daughter is nuts about horses.

I just drooled over her photos.

You can find Erin's work here.

I plan on having her take some pics of the kids

Since I suck at taking pics, but I love having unusual pics of the kids taken. This is one of my favorite pics of Syrina.

So we exchanged cards.

Yeah, I got business cards. I don't even have a business really. Well now I got the Etsy store. That is how I got the name "The White Farmhouse". I used that on the cards like it was a business name. I just got tired of searching for paper, writing my number on a receipt that it seems I really do need and giving that out.

Again, I am my grandmother's granddaughter. I am sure if she had thought of doing that she would have too.

The "II" here was because I made a blog, left it for awhile and forgot the sign in name.

Getting old sucks!

And the fence.... well we have been stopped since it has been raining here for the last 2 days.

But in true DeLauder fashion, we have been designing our next project.

Oi Vey!

I am hoping to get some of the painting done before Mr D puts on the trim boards.

In the meantime, I got some new ideas for store items. I might have some to show in the next couple of days.

Keep your fingers crossed!

I love that we are all getting old together! I find myself doing something and then thinking to myself ~ I am turning into my mother! I hope the clouds part and you have a sunshiny week-end for the 4th.
