White Wednesday

This is my first White Wednesday post. Honestly, I have tried to stay clear of white in my house since my tribe is of the messy sort. I do love how crisp and clean white looks though.

How perfect for a bathroom!

Is there any other color for beadboard? Even if it is paintable wallpaper.

Especially when it is topped off with a pretty white trim.

Windows look so dreamy with a sheer white fabric draped over them. I love my white distressed white plantation shutter peeking out from behind.

A white shower curtain is daring when you have well water, but what the heck?

I always feel pampered wrapping up in a super fluffy white towel.

And stepping onto a soft thick white bathrug is a must! Even if the floor does need to be replaced this winter.

This makes me want to work on the bathroom transformation some more today!

P.S. Either I missed White Wednesday or I am just stupid (don't answer that!). Oh well, maybe next week. I am still tackling that bathroom. It's starting to drive me nuts!

I'm totally getting some of the beadboard wallpaper. LOVE IT. You didn't miss White Wednesday...Kathleen doesn't do a McLinky thing. You just go to her page and she has the participants listed on her sidebar. Tons of eye candy!

I like white beadboard. And it's fabulous that you can create the same look in wallpaper! SO brave to have a white rug in a bathroom ;)

Oh Maggie.... I love your White Wednesday. What I love about you is that you are so real. ....and that's a compliment. I adore your white plantation shutters. I have them too, and they were the best thing that I ever bought. I look forward to reading many more of your White Wednesdays.
P.S. Will be doing a thank you for the award, post soon, but I am waiting to receive two giveaways that I won so I can thank everyone in one post. Hope that's O.K. Didn't want you to think that I'd forgotten XXXX

Thanks so much for coming by! I love your painting projects. My hubby and I re-purpose furniture. I just have such a hard time parting with any of when it's time to sell :(
Hope you have a wonderful end to the week and a glorious weekend to look forward to!

No denying it -- white is certainly the way to go here! It's beautiful. Also -- sorry, forgot what I was gonna say...oh yes -- I like your idea of a to do list. I'm going to do that right now! I actually have one, but it's a long-term one. I am going to start a weekly one! Great post

Your bathroom looks great!!

We were going to use actual bead board in our breakfast room, but this might just be the easier route. How is it holding up and was it easy to put on?
