Surprise!

How about something fun?! This weekend was all fun! No work, no laundry, no cleaning, just having a good time.

The best benefit about blogging is "meeting" people! I have sooooo many people that I consider my friends that I have only gotten to know through my blog. You are all my besties and I love ya all. Even better than "meeting" you all is meeting you all. That is exactly what I got a chance to do this weekend, meet one of my besties!

Do you know who this gorgeous cutie patootie is?

Yes, it is Theresa from 612 Riverside! My crappy photography does not do her justice. She is just absolutely gorgeous! When she smiles her whole face lights up and her eyes twinkle. She is so warm and welcoming I felt like I have known her for years! I snuck these pics when she wasn't looking! No pics of the two of us together cause, unlike her, I looked like the hag from hell.

She is also extremely talented! Look at the gorgeous pendants she made for the show. She also does custom work so I ordered some from her for Christmas. Yes, thinking about THAT already!

Her booth was set up so cute, just like her! Filled with all kinds of goodies too!

It was funny cause at one point, I heard my ringtone. I looked over at my oldest because I am not allowed to carry my own phone. She was standing next to Theresa's daughter, Hannah. They both pulled out our phones and checked them. Not only is she not allowed to have her phone, but we have the same ring tone! We are RINGTONE BUDDIES too! How funny is that?

I tell ya! I coulda stayed there all day just yacking with her. The kids had other plans though. So I had to cut it short, which is probably good for her since I was keeping her from her customers!

If you would like to see more of Theresa's work, visit her Etsy shop listed on her blog. I swear you won't be disappointed by her talent!

hey Maggie! It was so great to finally meet you! You did not look like a hag at all, don't go trying to fool these people ;0 I do believe i have a picture of us... I haven't even been able to go through the pics yet. yesterday was another busy one, best show i've ever done. YAY! Thanks so much for the sweet post, and thanks even more for making the trip up so that we could chat in person! Funniest part? When you were in front of my booth looking for the blonde... darn hormones! You're the best!

Maggie,

Sheesh I miss a week and come back to you moving, going to back to school, starting a new blog and meeting a blog buddy! Is that all? You didn't forget to tell us you are pregnant did you? :)
First off congrats to your hubby on a new job! I wish him much success and less aggravation {NO not because he'll be in TN and YOU'LL be in MI, silly but because he will no longer be a business owner!} Thomas and I had a long distance relationship for five years! Congrats to you for making the decision to turn your dream into a reality. {Just don't camp out on Wall St once you graduate.} I too hate the process of moving but love the adventure of a 'new' home! I will pop over to Theresa's blog and etsy shop and tell her you sent me.
Hope your foot is fully recovered and the stinky pinky is history!

Your Friend,
Deborah

I am just a tad jealous Maggie! So happy for you and Theresa... but I would love to meet you too! Sounds like you had a lot in common and had such a great instant bond!
I have never met Theresa, so I'll scoot over to make her acquaintance.
When you move to TN you will be nearer to me! TN is a very beautiful state!!!!! I hope you get a big dining room!
xo Yvonne
