Boo!

Yesterday was Bitty One's Preschool Halloween Party!

Aren't they cute?

Bitty One thinks she is Cinderella.  Don't tell her she really is a Renaissance princess though.  Isn't she cute? This is her and her friend Tyler.  I tease her that he is her boyfriend!

Look who else is a cutie!  Heehee!  She told me she would get her revenge if I posted her pic on facebook.  She  didn't say ANYTHING about my blog though!

Her "partner in crime" is just as cute too.  We were talking about how hard it is to find a costume that you can wear around 4 year olds without being risque.

They made crafts, listened to stories and ate food.

Lots and lots of food!

Isn't this cake cute?!  Okay, it was cuter when the legs didn't start to break and thaw.  The kids didn't seem to mind though.  I got this idea from Hungry Happenings.

I also brought these cute little mice.  Bitty One ate all the silver balls that I was going to use for eyes.  You can find the recipe for them here.

As for now, I am scooting off.  I have to bring treats for Bitty's other class today.  I found another really cute idea at Hungry Happenings that when I saw it I just knew I had to make them!

See ya soon!

Oh Maggie,
Your little bitty one is so pretty and looks lovely in her costume...... and all the spooky cakes are brilliant. They all must have had a great time.
....and, when I was little ( many, many years ago !!) I used to eat all of the silver balls too and my mum would get so annoyed !! XXXX

I HAD to come and leave a comment. I was rereading a comment you had made last year that your mother always ate dessert first and the doctor said that if you had to eat dessert you should eat it first as you burn up the calories while digesting the rest of the meal! That brought me joy again! I need to make that into a sign for the kitchen!
Hope you are doing ok without hubby!

I'm blog hopping from commenter to commenter this Friday evening. I came across your comment regarding Becky's sheep saving experience and your "change your name to Mary" made me laugh, so I chose you to come visit.

I'm not sure that was a great idea, however. If you baked all those goodies for your kiddos, I am now properly jealous and feeling a tad inadequate. I don't bake. My poor children.

Have a wonderful weekend! :)

I adore little munchkin Halloween parties. They are so young and they get dressed up and look adorable. You are so right it is ridiculous trying to find an adult costume that is decent to wear. The cake was awesome and the free blind mice idea was precious.

For security reasons you might want to blur out your son’s name on the photo envelope he is holding in the costume photos posted. I know the photos are a few years ago but you can read his name first, and last, his school and other private information.
