Tom and Jerry and a Closet

See these two innocents?

Well they are not! They are evil! The bitty girl watched Tom and Jerry today. Somehow she came up with the bright idea that the 4 legged girl was Jerry and she Tom. How the 100 lb Dane got to be a mouse I have no idea. So bitty girl aka Tom got Jerry to chase her around the table.

Sound innocent enough?

Well here is where it gets ugly. Seems bitty girl really thought she was a cat and tried to run up the drapes....

Some ideas seem better in her head than they work out in reality. So before we can tackle that closet upstairs we need to fix this.

Done!

Now.... moving onto that closet. It looks easy enough right?

Well let's see what we got packed in here. First you must remember that I am a professional so don't try this at home. To reach everything at the top back of the shelf we will need to be a little taller. That is where these come in.....

Aren't they cute? They tempted me to buy them and I did. After getting home I came to my senses and realized that I would never ever need to wear 3-1/2" heals for ANY occasion. Too lazy to return them, I now use them to clean the top shelf of my closet. It's a lot less work than running down to the snake den of a basement to get the stepladder that will no doubt sit in the room for the next 2 weeks til I put it where it goes. Plus, they are soooo painful to wear that it makes me clean faster!

So let's see what we found....

Hmmmm..... lots of dress clothes. I don't know why I have all these clothes, sweats are so much more attractive and flattering. Shipping boxes?! Who keeps shipping boxes in their closet? Why do I need all these shipping boxes? Do I have that many things to ship?

Hallelujah! More shoes! Just what I need since I do believe that the humungous pile under the bed may not be enough. Baseball caps for bad hair days or when those nasty roots are showing. Hmmm seems I should wear a hat more often.

Leftover flooring and sewing junk. Think I can find another place for these. I didn't have to paint the closet cause after I found the missing lid for the paint can on the top shelf I remembered that I did that last January. I did install lights in here though.

Do I get brownie points cause they were not on my to do list for January?

Can I get a brownie?

Weed out the clothes that even if I starved myself for 3 years I would never fit into again and...

Ta daa! Ah crap it looks the same as the before pic!

As for Tom and Jerry I failed to see where the innocent ones were in the picture--must be because I know them better than that!!! THE STORY YOU SHARED OF YOUR FRIEND IS HEART WRENCHING. THAT IS ALOT OF PAIN TO GO THROUGH AND STILL HAVE HER MIND AND FAITH INTACT. DOES SHE HAVE A BLOG....WHAT AN INSPIRATION HER STORY IS...SHE SHOULD WRITE A BOOK...
I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A CHILD RUNNING UP THE CURTAIN....DID SHE HURT HERSELF.....SHE LOOKS SO INNOCENT WITH THOSE BIG SWEET EYES.
IT IS SUCH WORK TO CLEAN OUT A CLOSET AND REORGANIZE. I ADMIRE YOUR ENTHUSIAM... MY DAUGHTER WAS A SHOE ADDICT AND WE SHARED THE ADDICTION TO PURSES.
