The Results!

I know you all are waiting on the edge of your seats wondering how the rain dance went last night.

Ummmm....

I don't know if Texas got rain, but we did! About an hour later it STORMED! My grandma used to say that rain was the angels crying. I think last night they were wailing and gouging their eyes out! Thank goodness it was just in time for when I was walking out of the grocery store with a load of groceries.

Darn you Mother Nature!

Anyways, the tribe has food now and that is all that matters. Right?!

Today I am going to finish up some projects that I have started around here. Like the curtain project in the living room. I found the boy and bitty one using my last curtain rod as swords on the trampoline today. Why you may ask? "You weren't using it!"

Oh.... go eat something!

Hopefully, I will have some stuff to show off really soon besides a messy house.

Hmmmm.... is there anything else?

Oh....

....wait....

....the giveaway winner!

So, who is the lucky winner of the 8x10 photo canvas print of your choice?

Drumroll please....

....so hard to get good help....

BJ @ Sweet Nothings!

Come on down!

Well, actually, just email me and I will put you in touch with the lovely Megan for your print!

It's gumbo night tonight!

I love gumbo! That and jambalaya sound like such happy food!

I might need to get out the limbo pole....

HurraY FOR BJ!! That storm was crazy! We were all hunkered down in front of the little league world series. I'm still winging it with dinner, last nights was made ahead of time in the crock pot though, beef stew for the carnivores and tofu vegie soup with dumplings for Hannah and I.. the dumplings almost converted Duane! t. xoxoxo

Hi Maggie:
You make me wish I lived next door to you!!!
I would not have to watch television as you are constant entertainment!!!
The lady doing my blog is making it more efficient for me to sell my jewelry and findings on the blog.
Do you do your own? Did you figure out how to make the different pages on your blog? I never was able to figure it out : (
Thank you for always checking up on me : )
Your kids have grown!!! Daddy is going to stand by the door with a shot gun with Brianna!!!

PS - Thanks for visiting. My you-know-who mispronounces things all the time too. Like saying pot-pour-ee instead of potpourri.... or mulsh instead of mulch. Drives me nuts.

My heart goes out to those in such drastic draught areas. We should all do the rain dance at the same time. lol As for my posting recipes... the problem is sometimes I just bake, and don't use recipes. Sorry. A bit of this, a dash of that ~ ~

So jealous about the rain, praying we get ours here in Texas soon. It thundered like crazy last night, but no real rain.
